EA edited Colin Kaepernick's name out from the lyric in Madden 19 from smrtsmith's blog

[Update: EA Sports has issued your firm stick out saying it erred in censoring Colin Kaepernick's mention from "Big Banks." According to the developer, it absolutely was without permission make full use of Kaepernick's likeness in the game (apparently since they's not only a member using the NFL Players Association) and EA Sports mistakenly thought that it was not allowed utilize his name inside of a song either. Kaepernick's name MUT 19 Coins will most likely be edited in "Big Banks" within the August 6 patch which will arrive before Madden 19 launches on consoles.
Here's EA Sports' statement fully:
"We made an unfortunate mistake using your Madden NFL soundtrack. Members of we misunderstood the reality that in the end don’t have rights to add in Colin Kaepernick in the game, it's not going to affect soundtracks. We all smudged, plus the edit shouldn't have happened. We will allow it become right, using the update to Madden 19 Coins on August 6 that may include the reference again. We meant no disrespect, and we all apologize to Colin, to YG and Big Sean, for your NFL, to all their fans and our players for this reason mistake."]
